I have always loved interacting with my readers. It gives me great pleasure knowing they enjoy reading my work as much as I enjoy writing the novels. Even more than that, I learn much from their feedback, too.
A much greater experience, though, is getting to see one of my readers now a published Filipino romance paperback author herself!
Many romance readers are aspiring romance writers and I always urge them to go for it. Who better to know what works best in a romance novel than a loyal reader of the genre?
And, indeed, one of my readers is now published in the Philippines as Mika Edelstann. I just got hold of a copy of her "Isla Mariposa" from Bookware Publishing Corporation's My Sweet Valentine imprint.
I still have to read the pocketbook which is now beside me. I just had to blog about it first in my excitement. I wanted to have this post up before I email her so that I could send her the link as a surprise. This is my congratulatory gift to you, my friend!
Now, please excuse me as I email her. And then I'll finally get to read the book. Yes!

Linked this blog of yours as well, Maia.
Yes, I can still remember how I felt then. I'm still excited with every new book in print up to now. I'm sure Mika is ecstatic. You could be in the same situation one day soon. Just keep on writing. Let me know when your book is out, okay? By the way, thanks for the links. I've added you to my links on both sites, too.
