My Mom passed away yesterday, May 11 4:45 p.m. Manila time. She is now happily reunited with my Dad just a few days after their May 4 wedding anniversary.
My Dad passed away in May 19 last year. They couldn't stand being apart for even a year.
They both showed us that there is nothing to fear about passing through the curtain to forever. They both went peacefully, prepared and anticipating the next life. They were surrounded by their loved ones - me, my husband and our kids - on this side and I'm sure were also welcomed by loved ones on the other side.
I will be offline this week, attending to the funeral. I am happy with the thought that my parents are once again together, and this time truly forever.
